This has been a busy and expensive week. I got so many books. Read some, others yet to start on. Most of it is work related–not my training work, but the writing work. Still I love reading them because they also end up making me a better trainer. And person.
Nearly complete:
Sacred Tears [Check this out under fiction in SriLankaBookChapters]
A More Beautiful Question: The Power of Inquiry to Spark Breakthrough Ideas
Half way through:
Focus: Use Different Ways of Seeing the World for Success and Influence
Focus: The Hidden Driver of Excellence by Daniel Goleman
On the list
Happiness at Work: Maximizing Your Psychological Capital for Success
Flourish: A Visionary New Understanding of Happiness and Well-being
Drive: The Surprising Truth About What Motivates Us
Oh and almost forgot.
The Future By Al Gore
I got this one as a birthday present for my husband. Guess why? Because I want to read it too. He loves it, so that’s not an issue! Don’t forget to check out the video about the future trends. Pretty interesting stuff.
Wish me luck! I’ll probably need three weeks to get through all this, while also reading nursery rhymes, Bob the Builder and If You Give a Mouse a Cookie…
